De La Grenade Industries

This company was founded by Captain Luis la Grenade(1733-1808) one of the first free coloured entrepeneurs in the caribbean. He owned schoners and farms and was the commander of the St. Georgs militia.

Today de La Grenade produces a range of products around nutmeg. They make syrups and jams and jellys out of the product greanda is one of the biggest producers of. Aside of that they make a very famous liqueur.
